I am looking for a person who can collaborate with me over Long Term Rentals in this area and surrounding vacinity, who would be able to look after clients and go to the said properties initially, and take photographs and get a description of each property etc. Plus be able to show prospective interested clients the various Long Term Rental properties that we accummulate on our system.

Art classes
Why not learn to paint and draw this autumn? Classes have resumed at PALS Social Club, La Siesta on Monday mornings from 10.30-1.00pm as well as at Lo Marabu Restaurant (on the Lemon Tree Road near La Laguna Hotel, Quesada) on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10.30-12.45pm. Complete beginners are very welcome as well as more experienced artists.
Suzanne Stokes has been teaching art in the area for more than 8 years and you can see an exhibition of her work at La Herradura Restaurant, next to the REPSOL Garage at Los Montesinos. Just wander in...no need to have a meal - though the dinner and Flamenco shows on Fridays and Saturdays are spectacular and great value!

Ladies Night - Meeting up for a Meal, drink, dance & Chat !!

I thought it might be nice to have a Ladies Evening. I used to run these quite regularly a few years ago and they were very popular.
The idea is to have a night out without our other halves and for us ladies to be able to make friends out here in Spain. It would also be nice to meet some of you from this forum.
DATE - Friday 30th September 2011
VENUE - ***LOLA's*** - on La Marina urb (The main Strip). It's situated on the left had side as you come off the forest road.
TIME - To meet at *Lola's* at 8.15 pm.
We will be having a meal - the usual choice of English food, or they do have a selection of Spanish dishes.
MUSIC: There will be live entertainment by *Jose* - Very good Spanish singer. He does do a few English songs.
DANCING - Yes room for a dance. Great Atmosphere.................Mainly Spanish !!

CD Montesinos and San Fulgencio played out an entertaining 3-3 draw at the Campo Municipal ground in Los Montesinos. The home side, forced to make various changes due to illness and injury (including left back Fernando who was injured in the warm up), started the game with only one recognised defender, and it clearly showed during the game.
The first half was even, but it was the visitors who opened the scoring after a long ball was pumped over the "Monte" defence and the visiting centre forward, who looked offside, lobbed the advancing Cubano in the home goal.
Going in 0-1 at half time, Juanpe, the CDM manager, shuffled his side around and this lead to the first equaliser as EDU took full advantage of some confusion in the visitotrs penalty area, his shot from the edge of the box found the bottom corner of the net for the merited equaliser, much to the delight of the 'The Full Monte'.
However, that delight was short lived as San Fulgencio retook the lead within minutes after a cross to the far post ended up in the back of the net. The match was now a real end to end affair, although far too often passes were misplaced. The next real chance came to Montesinos as Macan raced passed the visiting defence only to be taken out by the advancing San Fulgencio keeper who, in a league game, would have been shown a straight red as well as the penalty which was awarded. However, Macan fired a weak shot straight at the keeper much to his and his team mates disgust, not to mention those on the terraces!!
From having the opportunity to level things, CD Montesinos found themselves 1-3 down only minutes later, as a corner from the left was powerfully headed home by the San Fulgencio centre half. With time running out, Juanpe pushed on a half fit Vasquinho, playing his first few minutes of the pre season as he recovers from injury. It is clear to see why this player is considered too good for this level as he proceeded to take the San Fulgencio defence apart.
Within minutes, he had set up a goal for Edu, his second of the night, and then, in the final minute of the game, he scored a deserved equaliser with an excellent individual goal to send the 'Monte' fans home happy. Clearly, if he can maintain his fitness, Vasquinho will be a lethal weapon to have, especially at this 2nd regional level.
So thats all the pre season matches for CD Montesinos. The next match will be the official kick off to the season which will be on the weekend of the 17 or 18th of September. With three wins, one draw and a single defeat against a side from a higher division there is hope that this will be a dramatic season for the club who, with their ever increasing fan base, will be looking to finish near the top of the division - especially if they can shore up their defence a little.

Elderly expats villa used to register illegal immigrants
THREE people were arrested for registering illegal immigrants at a luxury villa in San Fulgencio belonging to an elderly expatriate couple.
San Fulgencio police alerted the Guardia Civil in July after they detected irregularities during a routine inspection of new citizens who have registered in the municipality.
Local Police Officers met the owners of the villa to determine if the names on the list were actually renting the property. They were ‘unaware’ that their property had a large number of Moroccan immigrants registered at their property. A rental contract to a Moroccan man had their personal details and signatures.
The woman who cleaned their home had apparently convinced them to sign an empty rental contract, so that the property could be rented out if the opportunity arose during times they were not in the country, according to a Guardia Civil statement.
The 63-year-old domestic worker, her 40-year-old daughter and a 26-year-old Moroccan man had apparently been operating a lucrative business registering illegal immigrants from Morocco at the villa’s address.
Immigrants could then apply for family reunification. They would allegedly charge €1,000 to €5,000, depending on the number of relatives wanting to live in Spain. The three detainees have been charged with forgery and crimes against foreign worker’s rights in Spain.
Guardia Civil are still investigating the case as they believe that the detainees may be related to a larger organization.
