Rare Gustav Becker clock

This morning a gentleman handed in a Gustav Becker spring clock in good condition. The gentlan gave the background that it belonged to his mums grandmother in Germany. The gentleman is In his 50s. So it is a old old clock. Does anyone know of antique clock dealers or someone who knows about clocks.
We have looked on eBay and there is one clock that looks the same but it's selling for $800. Any advice would be welcomed.

We found the actual clock and it is a Junghans. A link is posted here to show you a picture of what one looks like. It sells for anywhere between $250-350 and thats reconditioned. The one that came to the shop is still original not alterations and even has the original wind up wall nut key

Hi I had exactly the same clock that i sold before i moved to Spain and i am positive i got 500 pounds for it about 11 years ago. The date on the link is 2002 I think you need to find a specialist as i was told they are very rare especially if they still have the eagle on the top which that one has and mine did as in the war a lot of them were with eagles on were destroyed and replaced with something different due to the fact they were german. Good luck in selling it

Yes we still have the original eagle as it slots in to the top. No work has been done on it at all.
Thank you for the advice.

Tinkerbell do you have a email address I could send you a clear picture of the one we have. Just to see if it's anything like the one you had

Christine.
